This past summer, COLSA had the privilege of hosting many summer interns. Amongst those interns was Donovan Romo, a former farm hand for our founder, Mr. Collazo. While working on the farm, Donovan had the opportunity to speak with Mr. Collazo several times about what he wanted to do in terms of college.
Through Mr. Collazo, Donovan was introduced to COLSA and the work we do. As an intern this past summer, he worked in the COLSA Software Factory (CSF) and was known as the “hardware guy.” Now, Donovan is a full-time employee at COLSA. His day–to–day operations revolve around working on high–performance computers and making sure that the configurations and networks are operating correctly
To describe the culture of COLSA, Donovan referenced our motto: A Family of Professionals. He said that everyone sticks to that motto. While working at COLSA, you will always be treated as family and with the highest form of respect.
“The environment that is fostered here at COLSA is a unique one that is created by the people we hire.” Donovan said that the COLSA’s workforce is “filled with good people who genuinely care about you and the leadership and culture always focuses on putting family first.
