COLSA’s 2024 Interns, or Trailblazers as we like to call them, spent two months contributing meaningful work across all departments at our Huntsville locations. They attend schools across the United States, and bring skills like animation, data analysis, programming, engineering, IT solutioning, writing, and more.
2024 Intern Summer events included:
- June 3: Welcome Event – Networking Bingo & Pizza
- June 10: Lunch & Learn – COLSA Overview led by our leadership team
- June 17: Lunch & Learn – Career Coach, Jackie Brown, shared about the importance of building a career out of your core values
- June 24: Coffee & Capabilities – Led by our Functional VPs
- June 27: 1st Annual Colympics – Interns competed for medals and enjoyed lunch and shaved ice from Ice Works, a local food truck
- July 8: Cereal Bar – Interns enjoyed a fun cereal bar and networked with one another
- July 15: Lunch & Learn – “How to Build an Effective Resume” led by Michelle Gray, Talent Acquisition Partner at COLSA
- July 25: Final Presentations – Interns shared about their summer projects in a conference-style format (attended by the entire local Huntsville company)
We’re proud of the work completed by this talented group of young adults, and we look forward to following their careers to see what they accomplish next!
