VP/North Florida Operations

Joe Anderson joined COLSA in 2005 as the Vice President of North Florida Operations and Program Manager of the Technical and Acquisition Management Support (TAMS) contract. Before joining the COLSA Team, Joe served for 23 years in the Air Force and then continued his support as a support contractor for 5 years at Eglin AFB. When Joe joined COLSA, he brought over 25 years of experience in Program Management encompassing the Development, Testing, Production, and Fielding of various major Air Force Weapon System Programs.His acquisition experience while on active duty included providing financial and project management support for a Combined Test Force, the lead of Air Force flight and ground testing at two System Program Offices, a Program Element Monitor at the Pentagon, and a Program Manager. While stationed at the Pentagon, he also served as a Congressional Liaison, Assistant Secretary of the Air Force (Acquisition), with the House and Senate Budget and Appropriations Committees for all USAF tactical (aircraft and weapons), test, and science and technology programs.The specific programs Joe supported include the Ground Launched Cruise Missile, Advanced Cruise Missile, Tri-Service Standoff Attack Missile, Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (Joint STARS), AGM-130, various classified programs, and Small Diameter Bomb.Joe received a Bachelor of Science degree in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration, from Brigham Young University, 1977, and a Master’s of Science degree in Systems Management, from the University of Southern California, 1980.
