COLSA and our employees share a common belief and purpose – always seeking ways to improve the way we serve our customers, our teammates, our own employees and co-workers, and our communities. Responsible stewardship is more than a philosophy at COLSA – we live it everyday through the programs we sponsor and through the individual commitments of our employees to make a difference in our communities. As part of our commitment to good corporate citizenship, COLSA believes in supporting charitable causes that enhance the success of the communities where we operate and where our employees live. To this end, COLSA reviews, selects, and contributes to many noteworthy causes – choosing those that bring the greatest good for our communities. As a result of our dependable stewardship, COLSA was named the Volunteer Corporation of the Year in 2008 by the Volunteer Center of Madison County for our work to help veterans. In addition to those causes COLSA supports at the corporate level, our employees are also passionate about giving back to our communities. As a means of encouraging community support and as a way to enrich the corporate culture at COLSA, our employees formed the Association of COLSA Employees (ACE) in the mid-1980s. ACE offers opportunities for participation and interaction in recreational activities, family events, and charitable causes. Each year, COLSA employees vote on and choose which charitable causes will be supported.
