INSURANCE PLANS

COLSA offers a comprehensive benefits program. Employees customize their package by selecting from: major medical health insurance with prescription drug coverage, dental insurance with in- and out-of-network benefits, vision insurance or vision discount options, employer-paid life and accidental death and dismemberment coverage, and employer-paid disability plan options. If you elect not to participate in our benefit plans, COLSA offers a medical opt-out election that puts cash in your pocket for other family or personal needs. The COLSA Choice program includes options to increase your coverage in areas that are most important to you, for example, income replacement and life insurance for the family. We also provide an Employee Assistance Program to help you and your family during work-life struggles. COLSA insurance programs may differ between locations.

ANNUAL LEAVE PROGRAM

COLSA employees enjoy a generous leave program that includes 10 paid federal holidays and accrued annual leave that is immediately vested. Our leave program includes leave sharing for employees who are suffering a hardship and special leave for bereavement, jury duty, military duty and medical issues.

RETIREMENT PLAN

COLSA employees participate in a 401(k) defined contribution plan. Our employees are able to manage their investments online and have distribution opportunities for loans and hardships.

HEALTH AND WELLNESS PROGRAM

COLSA strives to cultivate a culture of health by creating a work environment that fosters and rewards healthy lifestyle choices. The WE CARE Wellness program offers a variety of Health & Wellness resources available to employees and their spouses. Initiatives include a point incentive program, lunch and learns, biometric screenings, flu shots, fitness discounts, an on-site fitness center for local employees, and more!

ACE (ASSOCIATION OF COLSA EMPLOYEES)

Our Association of COLSA Employees (ACE) provides a fun way for employees and their families to come together in times of celebration and in times of need. Many social activities and community service events are planned with family members of all ages in mind.

COLSA YOUNG PROFESSIONALS (YOPRO)

The COLSA Young Professionals Program will host career development lunch and learns, networking opportunities, as well as after-work social events. All employees are welcome to attend events sponsored by COLSA Young Professionals, but subject matter will target personnel early in their career.
